❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What playlist formats are supported?

PlayFenix supports M3U and M3U8 playlist formats, which are the industry standard for IPTV services.

Is my playlist data stored in the cloud?

No. All your playlist data is stored locally on your device for maximum privacy and security. We never upload your playlists to any server.

How does health monitoring work?

PlayFenix periodically checks the availability of your channels by attempting to connect to their streams. The results are displayed in the app and widget, showing which channels are online or offline.

Can I export my playlists?

Yes! You can export your playlists as M3U files through the playlist settings menu. This allows you to backup your playlists or share them with other apps.

Why won't some channels play?

Channel availability depends on your IPTV provider. If a channel won't play, it may be offline, region-restricted, or require specific credentials. Check with your IPTV service provider.

Can I use multiple playlists?

Absolutely! PlayFenix supports unlimited playlists. You can organize different content sources, regions, or categories into separate playlists.

How do I set up password protection?

Go to SettingsSecurityEnable Password Protection. Enter your desired password to protect your playlists.

Does PlayFenix work offline?

You can browse your playlist metadata offline, but streaming content requires an active internet connection.
